Forge pressure
The forge pressure indicated in the specifications reflects how resilient the goods are under normal storage conditions. Under extreme temperature fluctuations or improper storage (e.g. lateral pressure), this value may vary. Poor transport conditions may also limit the resilience of the item and this must be tested in individual cases through appropriate trials. Hot-filling puts a special pressure on items and the values for this must be specially determined according to the demands.
Transport
The goods are shrunk on euro pallets, which firstly serves to secure the load and secondly protects against dust, moisture, solar radiation and damage. The legal regulations on load securing must be complied with.
Filling goods
Certain materials can damage plastic packaging. If your filling goods contain aggressive materials or are not safe to be filled by a certain product, we recommend you speak to us about maintaining appropriate filling trials.
Resistance to cold
When using packaging made of polypropylene at temperatures under +5°C, you should pay attention to the following matters, as otherwise strain could cause damage:
The container should be stored in a tempered room until it reaches a temperature of over 5°C
High strains should be avoided, e.g. impacts against the containers, letting the containers fall etc.
Safety
All packaging goods produced by Gerhard Ilsen GmbH & Co. KG and their raw materials and dyes are food-safe and subject to strict quality control monitoring. By complying with all legal regulations and ordinances, we certify the safety our all our products according to food legislation.
Weights
The weights indicated in the product specifications are subject to the tolerances indicated. The weight of the item may vary in relation to the tolerance rate indicated.
Measurement
The measurements indicated are also subject to a tolerance rate.
Packaging containers
The containers made by the company Gerhard Ilsen GmbH & Co. KG, especially those containers with originality closures, are designed for the food-filling industry, not for multiple refills or secondary usage.
